CARROLL COUNTY: Katherine Stewart Dill, 89, died Wednesday, November 19, at her home. Funeral services were Sunday, November 23, at Dilday Funeral Home in Huntingdon with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Dill was born April 1, 1919 in Lexington to the late Dorsey and Maggie Barker Stewart. She was a homemaker, licensed beautician working three years as a beautician for Care Inn, Boy Scout den mother, church nursery worker, past president and lifetime member of the PTA and member of First United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Dill. Survivors include: 11 children, Reba Marilyn (Donald) Sullivan, Alice Carolyn (Harold) Buffin, Rosemary Elaine Cotham, Warren Harvey (Jeannie) Dill, Lela Emily (Ralph) Mayo, Charles Martin (Carolyn) Dill, Katherine June (Joe) Turner, Paul Michael (Leesa) Dill, John Anthony (Joannie) Dill, Deborah Jane McPeake, and Phillip Mitchell Dill; one sister, Virginia Maxine (Thomas) Carroll; and one brother, James Sanders "Jimmy" (Alberta Williamson) Stewart; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Katherine Stewart Dill, 89, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. James Cooper will officiate the services.
Mrs. Dill was born April 1, 1919, in Lexington, Tennessee, to the late Dorsey and Maggie (Barker) Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Dill, who passed away December 22, 1999.
She is survived by six daughters, Reba Marilyn Sullivan, of Lexington, Kentucky, Alice Carolyn Buffin, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Rosemary Elaine Cotham, of Cordova, Tennessee, Emily Lowe Mayo, of Bradford, Tennessee, Katherine June Turner, of Edwardsville, Illinois, Deborah Dill McPeake, of Lexington, Tennessee, five sons, Warren Harvey Dill, of Union, Kentucky, Charles Martin Dill, of Loganville, Georgia, Paul Michael Dill, of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, John Anthony Dill and Phillip Mitchell Dill, both of Huntingdon, Tennessee, a sister, Virginia Maxine Carroll, of Enville, Tennessee and a brother, James S. Stewart, of Huntingdon, Tennessee.
